COCC's culinary program trains those interested in professional food preparation, from aspiring chefs looking to make their mark, to food service workers developing their skills, to foodies who enjoy cooking classes. CCI's Jungers Culinary Center on the COCC Bend campus brings together the latest kitchen classroom technology, multiple cooking labs, and a demo theatre, where students, and local diners, get a flavor for running a fine-dining restaurant.

Program-Specific Information

COCC's Cascade Culinary Institute (CCI) offers professional degrees and certificates to prepare students for immediate employment in food and hospitality-related industries. Students will have the opportunity to take a variety of classes in baking & pastry arts, culinary arts and hospitality management; gaining practical knowledge from expert instructors with industry experience.

The Cascade Culinary Institute’s Culinary Arts and Baking and Pastry Arts programs are accredited by the American Culinary Federation (ACF).  Accreditation from the ACF is voluntary and requires that curriculum, faculty, facilities, resources, support staff, and organizational structure all substantially meet the standards set by the ACF Accrediting Commission.
