Campus Safety Services

Medical Response

Campus Safety Officers have Healthcare Provider: Basic Life Support certifications from the American Heart Association. Every CPS patrol vehicle carries an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and advanced medical and bleeding control equipment. Additionally, officers carry bleeding control equipment, as well as NARCAN for use in response to an opioid overdose. We encourage all community members to become CPR and AED certified.
