Quinlan Crowe
Shaping a career built around "genuine human connection," to impact lives in a profound way, was essential to Quinlan Crowe as she determined her educational path. She found what she was looking for in COCC’s Massage Therapy program.
"To connect with people and help them feel better both physically and emotionally, and on such a personally meaningful level, really inspired me to do massage therapy," she shares. "I also love learning about the body and all its crazy, cool interconnected parts."
Now completing her Associate of Applied Science, Crowe is excited to attain her license and become an LMT. "Eventually, I want to work on my own as an independent practitioner in an office with other natural practitioners," she adds.
The Merit Scholarship recipient and dean’s list student received All-Oregon Academic Team recognition in 2022, an honor that involves a faculty nomination process.
Originally from Beaver, Oregon, a town of about 100 residents in Tillamook County, Crowe calls Bend home these days and is appreciative of the broader college experience that she has received at COCC. "It has helped expand my view and perspective of the world and therefore truly helped me grow as a person…exposing me to different unique people and new ways of seeing the world."
